Perfect for... a luxury break

Reid's Palace in Madeira reopens this month after extensive refurbishment, with lots of family-friendly facilities, including children's bathrobes, baby Bvlgari products and teddy bears. The Fun at Reid's kids' club has a children's pool, playground and a Wendy house. There are children's menus, too, with child minding until 9pm so parents can enjoy a romantic dinner.  The Mediterranean Experience offers seven nights, including breakfast, transfers and flights from London, from £1,022 per adult sharing a classic room and from £221 for one child sharing a classic room with two paying adults.
