The lowdown
Finally, a high-end property in Greece with its head screwed on. Theis is a small family-run operation that happens to be super-slick. You can treat it like a hotel and eat in the terrace restaurant (the prettiest yellow pepper soup you'll ever see) or hide away in your villa with a chef on call. All the villas have big wraparound infinity-pools overlooking the Gulf of Mirabello, but the Presidential villas, with three bedrooms, their own gym, steam rooms, shaded terraces, Jacuzzis and water jets, are knockout. Anna and her daughter Charitini will bend over backwards for you. This hotel is grown-up, thoughtful.
