TREASURES OF THE MAHGREB
Kasbah Tamadot was formerly the home of the renowned antiques dealer and interior designer Luciano Tempo. Here he collected treasures and antiques from around the world – India, Indonesia and North Africa – many of which still remain within the Kasbah. Each room and suite is individually designed and decorated – you may stay in Lemni, with its extraordinary mirror-mosaic ceiling, or Tafoukt, named after its original engraving of the sun.
OF COUSCOUS AND ROSEWATER
Moroccan cooking has long been recognised as one of the world’s great cuisines and here at Tamadot’s Kanoun Restaurant you won’t be disappointed. Flavours, aromas and textures are skilfully combined to produce the most delicious tagines, couscous, breads and pastries. One evening a week a Berber feast is served alfresco on the roof terrace; on another there’s a cultural dinner around the reflecting pool.
MEMORIES OF MOROCCO
Kasbah Tamadot has been designed with relaxation in mind – you need do nothing but lie by the pool all day or submit yourself to the hands of the experts in the hammam. However, for born explorers there is plenty of opportunity for indulgence – the souks of Marrakech, the breathtaking Ourika Valley, sunrise from a hot air balloon, trekking in the Atlas or horseriding through juniper forests to the Techt Pass. Morocco is just waiting to be discovered…
