Cyprus enjoys a Mediterranean climate, with abundant sunshine year round. 

Summer temperatures remain until mid-November and even December and January can see an average 6 hours of sunshine, despite the possibility of rain. 

The great heritage sites and museums of Cyprus are at their least crowded in winter and by February the countryside is covered by a carpet of springtime flowers.
