DUBROVNIK TO MLJET

LAVENDER AT HVAR
A three-hour cruise will bring you to Hvar Island, renowned for its rolling fields of lavender and historic Hvar town. Strategically positioned on an important ancient sea route, the cultural influences of centuries of travel can be seen in the town’s unique architecture, while the island is a sun-drenched paradise of secluded coves, heather, sage and rosemary, and the sound of wild crickets. An optional stop at Lastovo Island is steeped in history: Roman ruins, medieval architecture and a 15th century loggia. 

ON THE FOOTSTEPS OF MARCO POLO
After a night at Hvar, your journey will continue to the stunning Island of Korcula: the birthplace of Marco Polo and one of the bestpreserved medieval towns on the Mediterranean. Winding narrow streets open out to spectacular palaces and magnificent churches, all works by the famed stone-masons of Korcula. After exploring this astonishing gem, depart for the Elaphite Islands. These 13 tiny islands, surrounded by reefs and rocks, have long been summer destinations for the Dubrovnik aristocracy; you’ll find elegant manors reflecting the rich history of the region. Then return to Dubrovnik in the late afternoon and disembark to continue your holiday at the Rixos Hotel Libertas.
